Apple Releases iTunes 8.2 & QuickTime 7.6.2 With Improvements and Bug Fixes
Apple had released the iTunes 8.2, which is an update for the free application for Mac and PC which plays all your digital music and video and syncs content to your iPod, iPhone, and Apple TV. iTunes 8.2 supports iPhones and iPod touches equipped with the update of iPhone 3.0 software. Apple had improved security in iTunes 8.2 along with the prevention of a stack overflow problem in iTunes.
iTunes 8.2 mainly supports the upcoming iPhone OS 3.0 and it also includes many accessibility improvements. Apple has also released an updated version of QuickTime which brings version 7.6.2. The update claims to improve overall compatibility and offers enhanced security. QuickTime 7.6.2 includes changes that increase reliability, improves compatibility and enhances security. This release is recommended for all QuickTime 7 users only.
Currently the iPhone OS 3.0 is in beta version and the current release is mainly done iPhone or iPod touch with the iPhone 3.0 Software. iPhone OS 3.0 includes features like peer-to-peer connectivity on Bluetooth rather than Wi-Fi, accessory support, iPod library, Map Kit access and many more.
