The first beta version of the BitDefender Total Security 2010 is right now available on the web. The final version of the BitDefender Total Security 2010 is planned to be released in July. The new security suite from BitDefender is available for testing at their beta center. You can create a free account at their beta center to test the software. The good thing is that you can win prizes like Asus Eee PC, Nintendo Wii, Apple iPod Touch and free licenses by testing the security suite.
BitDefender Total Security 2010 has got many modules – antivirus, antispam, firewall, parental and privacy control tools, backup and encryption, game/laptop mode, home network management and system tune-up tools (registry cleaner, duplicate finder, PC cleaning and defrag).
BitDefender Total Security 2010 offers a new behavioral scanner technology with enhanced performance. The user interface has been improved a lot. BitDefender Total Security 2010 has got more stringent parental controls with improved website filtering mechanism, website categories and customizable profiles, e-mail alerts, time control and the ability to schedule a user’s access to certain applications.
