HTC Magic – First Google Android OS Mobile in India From Airtel
If you are India and are looking to try out an Android Mobile then you can checkout the new HTC Magic based on Google’s Android OS in India especially from Airtel. The phone features a 3.2″ TFT-LCD flat touch-sensitive screen with 320×480 HVGA resolution, 3.2 MP camera with autofocus, Quad Band 3G handset and Trackball with Enter button. The mobile bundle contains HTC Magic, Charger, Battery, Data Cable, 2 GB microSD card, Headset, user guide and pouch.
The HTC Magic really has good attractive design with LED light display quality, interface design, respectable camera quality and outstanding web browser. The HTC Magic’s display quality is pretty attractive and both indoors and outdoors display looks very pretty. Touchscreen gives us excellent response for every touch. With very big display scrolling and typing on the display-screen is much easier. The lack of auto brightness adjustment in the display is the only problem in HTC magic.
Apart from that you can choose few widgets available in the mobile. The widgets include an analogue calendar, clock, a picture frame, music player and the Google search bar. The HTC Magic features GSM Quad band and 3G dual band handset which supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and HSDPA 900/2100 bands. The phone also has Bluetooth v2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and GPS. The Magic supports SMS, MMS and Email. The Indian HTC Magic has only standard mail application, which is proficient.
The default web browser in HTC Magic is excellent and it is easy to browse in that. The browser works brilliantly without any problem and also works very fast. The HTC Magic is powered by a 1340 mAh Li-Ion battery. You can charge your phone in two ways one with its charger and also with USB cable by connecting it to your computer. The cost of the HTC Magic is Rs. 27,500. This mobile is only available with Airtel in India and it not possible to use with another network. There are some minus points in this mobile like Expensive, UI is bit sluggish, no flash for camera, no Maps software, no FM radio and mainly Bluetooth can be used only with headsets.
