Nokia Beta Labs have released a very useful application for Series 60 5th edition mobiles 5800 and N97. The application named Nokia Diagnostics will allow the mobile users to test network coverage, internet connectivity, battery charger, loudspeaker and earpiece. If you are a Nokia Mobile user, you can download this free Nokia Diagnostics App to test different features of your mobile.

Network Coverage Test can be used to check if we are receiving a good signal strength. It also displays the network on which the mobile is running. The Internet Connectivity Test can be used when we want to move between different wireless networks. The Earpiece and Loudspeaker Tests can be used to check if the components are working perfectly. Personally I’m not pretty sure how accurate these applications work and how useful will the tests be. But as the application is free to download you can try it out and check the condition of your mobile.

Nokia Diagnostics works well with all S60 5th Edition devices like Nokia N97, Nokia N97 Mini, Nokia 5230, Nokia 5530, Nokia 5800, and Nokia X6. Nokia Diagnostics is not yet compatible with S60 3rd Edition devices.
