Today I opened the “App. Updater” application in my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic mobile to find out that there is an update available for Adobe FlashLite. It showed that the new Adobe Flash Lite 3.1 is available as an update. As the new Flash Lite 3.1 has got many features I immediately updated the Flash Lite present in my Nokia 5800 mobile.

The latest version of Flash Lite has got many capabilities. Flash Lite 3.1 includes H.264 standard video support and also supports hardware acceleration through OpenVG 1.1. Flash Lite 3.1 is broadcast as a Flash 9, ActionScript 2.0 compatible player, so it greatly improves your web browsability. Even the client footprint of Flash Lite 3.1 has been reduced to 380KB from 450KB in Flash Lite 2.1.
