Apple Launching 11.6-inch MacBook Air and iPod Touch With 3MP Camera?
DigiTimes reports that Apple is all set to launch a new generation MacBook Air which features a 11.6″ Display and runs on the Intel Core i-series ultra-low voltage processor. Along with the 11.6-inch MacBook Air, Apple will also be releasing a new iPod touch which features a 3MP camera. Apple 11.6″ MacBook Air will be available in second half of 2010 and iPod Touch with 3MP camera will be available in August or September said the source.
Mingchi Kuo, senior analyst at Digitimes Research mentioned that the 11.6-inch MacBook Air will feature an even slimmer and lighter design than the previous models. The shipment volumes of the new 11.6-inch MacBook are expected to reach only 400,000 units in 2010.
The new iPod Touch will feature a 3MP camera, capable of both photo and video recording, and will be running on the latest Apple A4 Processor which is also used in the iPhone 4. The new iPod touch shipments are expected to reach 17-18 million units in 2010.
