Intel Shows MeeGo 1.0 on Netbook and Multiple Devices and Screen Sizes
Intel has showcased MeeGo on Netbooks in the Developer Forum held in Beijing. Apart from Netbooks, MeeGo will also be available for different types of devices. Intel has released couple of videos showcasing the MeeGo OS in Developer Forum . The videos show MeeGo 1.0 and how Intel is planning to bring it up on multiple devices while allowing users to connect to different MeeGo devices on the go and even stream content right from one MeeGo device to another. For those of you who do not know about MeeGo, it is a Mobile Operating System Developed by Intel and Nokia by taking the best features from Moblin and Maemo.
MeeGo is a Linux-based OS and will support both ARM and x86 processors. MeeGo 1.0 has got a clean and fresh UI that uses tabs to give quick access to Media, Applications etc. MeeGo will be shipped in the second half of this year and will show up in the LG GW990 and Nokia N900.
