Well, I have faced more than 8 hosting providers so far from India and almost everyone is bad in their service. My current host is most perfect in their service and I do refer them to all even without any affiliates system.

I was kicked out once from my hosting companies for taking up too much server resources, and its hard to argue when mostly we don't read their signup agreements, we tend to think the term 'unlimited space and unlimited bandwidth' is something we could actually get

I am in Linux based. At first i checked how much bandwidth and storage capacity i need. I read them some one says few hundred mbs of storage is enough. But i think few GB storage and 10-50 Gb of bandwidth will be enough. I already used 250 MB of data space and 5ooMB of bandwidth this month.

Most of the Indian hosting services are very bad at responding to queries.. Some times they take more than 2-3 days to respond!!

Before committing with any web service provider you must first have a clear idea about your needs and requirements. Whether you are looking for a window based or non window based server that also must be chalked out.

yeah choosing best webhosting is not really an easy job... Its a compromise between price and service.....
you can easily get good amount of traffic with good content and regular updates.. don't mind about Alexa ranking..

I did lot of research in webhosting companies. I don't had CC. And i was about to buy hosting from few indian hostings. Then i read lot of reviews online. And find some of them are not reliable. Right now i am using WHW from US which accepts indian currency. Some times i faced down time of few minutes. But i am quite satisfied with them.

I also found few of my friends account disabled because excessive RAM usage. If major player can do this anyone can do. My target is to achieve alexa 25,000 consistently by next year without social traffic and shift on VPS.
